Estonian Association of Performing Arts Institutions is an association of employers representing 22 Estonian performing arts institutions.

EETEAL is the successor to the Estonian Theater Directors Union (founded in 1991). The status and name of the organization changed in 2006, the main goal is still to create the necessary conditions for the development of performing arts and to represent common interests.

The Union is interested in common important activities and initiatives of performance institutions, such as the development of funding systems for theaters, organizing the work environment through collective agreements with other cultural organizations, legislative initiatives, social dialogue with the state and contractors, practical, living issues of organizations such as ticket sales systems, trainings or the functioning of festivals.

EETEAL is a full member of the European Performing Arts Emplyers Associations League (Pearle¤ - Performing Arts Emplyers Associations League Europe), continuing its membership of the Estonian Theater Management Association.
